We had an incredible time in Peru. Lima was fantastic and Machu Picchu was awe-inspiring. We, however, spent most of our time in Peru in the Amazon at the Tahuayo River Lodge and the Amazon Research Center. We boated and hiked through the jungle and (with the help of excellent guides) saw amazing sites and a shockingly wide variety of plants and animals. These are a few photographs we took that give some example of what I am talking about.

That looks amazing, David! I’m afraid you might find your time in New Zealand to be a little, well, tame, compared to your adventures in South America! We will be glad to see you nonetheless! – Summer, Kate & Ella
