Surf’s up at Agnes Water!

We recently stopped the beautiful and tiny town of Agnes Water in Queensland Australia.  Our accommodations were a raised safari tent with a view of the beach.  The tent was air-conditioned with a private full bath, kitchen and  flat screen tv.  (My kind of “camping”!)  The crescent shaped beach provided soft sand, warm water, and the perfect break to learn to surf.  Both kids enrolled in surf school and within an hour were catching waves and standing up.  We loved this picturesque little town and the kids will never forget their first day of surfing.  Beautiful sunsets capped off each warm and sunny day.
