    David,
I see way too many Barcelona FC jerseys in your (beautiful) pictures.
Give me an address where I can send you guys a couple of jerseys of US Cremonese – remember?
Ciao to you all and safe travels!
    Luca

    • Ciao Luca-
We will have to come get the Cremonese jerseys in person. You would be shocked how few there are available in Kentucky! (Actually, anywhere). It must be some conspiracy lead by Lionel Messi and FC Barcelona. FORZA GRIGIOROSSI!FORZA CREMONESE!

  9. Carol (Helmers) Greenwood says:

Was reseaching my father’s side of family that I lost track of over
40 years ago. John Helmers was my father’s twin brother and
JohnHarold ,your father was named after them. I am so taken with
your blog I read it all day on Sunday. I did not know Joan, Judy, or
Janet’s married names, so have never been able to reconnect.Would love to hear from anyone when you get back.
Love the pctures of all the wonderful places you have been.

    • Carol-
Thank you for your kind note. I am sorry we haven’t responded sooner. Sometimes we have wifi – sometimes we do not. And when we do, sometimes we are just too busy. Anyway, we are so happy to hear from you and glad you have enjoyed reading about our adventures. We are in Germany now and just visited Joan’s oldest daughter Michele in Munich. It was great to see her and toast the Helmers family with a good German beer! Janet is a Clark, Joan a Dubois and Judy now a Strong. All are in Facebook, I believe and I will be glad to help you reconnect. Thanks for your message. David
